Phonics screening check parent presentation

Thank you to those parents who were able to attend the presentation on Wednesday with our headteacher, Mr Ainscow and our phonics lead, Mrs Sykes.

In the presentation parents looked at the screening check that will be carried out in June this year. We had an opportunity to talk about phonics progression and understanding the colour groups and checking what was next to be on track to pass.

Mrs Sykes talked about some of the past checks and we looked at typical words that have been included in past years.
