Getting Involved
Welcome to Ashbrook School, where we believe that a thriving school community is built on the active involvement of parents. We understand the pivotal role parents play in shaping the educational journey of their children, and we encourage you to become an integral part of our vibrant school community.
At Ashbrook, there are numerous opportunities for parents to get involved and make a positive impact. Whether you choose to participate in the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), volunteer to join in with school trips and visits, join school committees, or attend parent workshops, your engagement is not only welcomed but celebrated.
We believe that by working together, we can create an enriching and supportive environment for our pupils to excel academically and personally. Your involvement is not only an investment in your child's education but also an opportunity to connect with other parents, build lasting friendships, and contribute to the overall success of our school community. Join us on this exciting journey of collaboration and empowerment at Ashbrook School!
- Friends of Ashbrook (FOA) is our Parent Teacher Association (also referred to as the PTA). We are looking to grow this and are keen to hear from parents who would like to be part of this.
- Coffee Mornings: These are informal opportunities for parents to come in and meet with other parents alongside staff members.
- Volunteering: Parents, grandparents and wider family members are welcome to volunteer at Ashbrook. This could be to share skills with the staff and children, join in with special days and visits or to listen to readers or help with keeping our library tidy. Volunteers are required to have a DBS check, which will be processed by school.
- Engagement with surveys: At Ashbrook we are keen to hear from parents and our wider community. The feedback is essential in ensuring that the great things we do are shared.
