Maths-in-action afternoon

In a vibrant showcase of maths engagement we were delighted to invite our parents back in to Ashbrook to join the children for an interactive ‘Maths in Action’ afternoon. The event aimed to bridge the gap between home and school learning while highlighting the practical applications of mathematics. From problems solving challenges to hands-on activities , families immersed themselves in a variety of mathematical concepts, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the subject. Our wonderful Ashbrook children eagerly demonstrated their skills, showcasing their mathematical prowess and invited parents to join in the fun. The event not only strengthened the school-parent partnership but also underscored the importance of making maths accessible and enjoyable for all.
