Year 1 Jolly Christmas Postman trip

We are excited to share with you that Year 1 children will be going on a special trip to the Royal and Derngate Theatre to see a performance of ‘The Jolly Christmas Postman’ on Wednesday 11 December!

This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience the magic of theatre and see a beloved story come to life. This visit ties in beautifully with our current English learning. The children are exploring the book ‘The Jolly Christmas Postman’ and learning about letter writing, storytelling and the different characters in the book. We believe this trip will not only enhance their understanding of the story, but also inspire them to create their own letters and stories in the classroom.

We will depart from school at 9.00am and return by lunchtime.  We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £17.50 (to cover transport and ticket expenses in line with the governors charging policy).
