Outdoor Classroom Day / VE Day 80th Anniversary Picnic

This day is marked in many schools across the UK. The children will focus on their outdoor learning.

They are invited to come to school wearing red, white or blue and will spend part of the day thinking about what VE day means.  

Children will be having a picnic on the field at lunch time to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day (weather permitting).

There will be no hot dinners on this day. Instead, Chartwells will be offering a cheese sandwich packed lunch.

If you have ordered any of the school dinner menu options on ParentPay for Thursday 8 May, your child will automatically be provided with a cheese sandwich packed lunch.

If you would prefer your child to bring a packed lunch from home, please cancel the meal that you have ordered on ParentPay.
