Lunar New Year 2025

On Wednesday 29th January the children across school celebrated Lunar New Year. The children learned about how this special occasion is marked across a range of countries around the world, most commonly referred to as Chinese New Year, but as we now now it’s celebrated in many more countries than China alone.

There was a special assembly where some of the children joined Miss Hodgkins to talk about their day and to show things that they had been making and learning about.

It was lovely to see a sea of red in the school hall for assembly.
